DSWD SEA-K Profiling at Bugasong, Antique with Parent Leaders

       Bugasong, Antique Philippines--The  Department  of  Social Welfare  and  Development  conducts  profiling  and  needs  assessment  for the  municipality of   Bugasong  in  line  with  the  proposal for the  implementation  of  SEA-K.  This  is  another  economic  intervention  of  the  said  Office  in  support  to  the  Pantawid  Pamilya  Program  of  the  National  Government.   DWSD  project  coordinator  Mrs.  Geralyn  Bantolo-Flores  presented  an  overview  of the  said  profiling. " It  aims  to  encourage  members  to venture  into  livelihood  projects  and  making  them  productive  members  of the  community and  encourage  increase  of  income in  every  households"  she  said.   Bugasong  has  been  into  various  validation  activity  in line  with poverty  reduction  program  as  of  this  time  Social  Weather Station (SWS)  and  World  Bank ,  National  Youth  Commission   and  UNICEF  conducts  impact  assessment  on  various  interventions  in  the  said  Municipality.  Meanwhile,  Mayor  Bernard  N.  Pesayco,  encourage  member  beneficiaries  to  learn from  the  past  experiences  and  continue  to  move  forward  in  the  realization  of  Bringing  New  Progress  to  Bugasong.
