‘Pharmaton’ racers to pass by Antique



SAN JOSE, Antique — Racers joining the Pharmaton MVP Unleashed Challenge will pass by this capital town via the Strong Republic Nautical Highway on March 15, about 1:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
With the starting point in Miag-ao Church in Miag-ao, Iloilo, the participants will be biking all the way to the San Jose plaza.
According to race coordinator Mia Antonio, this event is a truly tourism-inspired endeavor that is hoped to generate more interest and enhance tourism prospects in Antique, particularly in San Jose de Buenavista town.
The Pharmaton MVP Unleashed Challenge is a 30-day nonstop travel and multisport race traversing the whole country, from Davao City to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
Among the race events are running, biking, swimming, kayaking, surfing, weaving and a lot more, encompassing 2,900 kilometers. (PIO/PIA/PN)
